- Outstanding Seminar with Master Nakajima and the Aikidoka from the Shinki Dojos in Germany! By the end of the seminar we had 22 hours of Aikido, Kenjutsu and Daitoryu training as well as a great deal of individual instruction from Master Nakajima. Thank you to all of the Aikidoka at the Mt. Pleasant Shinki Dojo for all of the preparation and on going work that went into making this first International Aikido Seminar such a success! Also a big thanks to Master Nakajima, his wife Susanne and all of Aikidoka from Germany for traveling all the way from Germany to train with us. You have made a big impact on all of the Mt. Pleasant Aikidoka and opened our eyes to many new possibilities both on and off of the mat!
- Great seminar in Cincinnati! Yamada Sensei, the most senior Shihan with Aikikai (Tokyo) instructed. Only good bruises from 8 hours of Aikido training. Over 100 Aikidoka, over half were Yudansha and 4 were Shihans. It was great to see Doug again and glad that Jeff was able to participate as well! Next year will be their 40th anniversary; hopefully we can bring more students from Shinki Aikido in MP
