- Beginning Tuesday April 5, 2022, we will restart our Aikido training (after a 2 year Covid-19 hiatus) at the Group Fitness room on the second floor of Morey Courts Recreation Center at 5175 E Remus Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI · (989) 953-7529. Aikido training will be on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM. We hope to start additional on Thursdays 6:30-8:30 PM as soon as feasible.

- The International Aiki Budo Seminar, featuring instruction by Michael Daishiro Nakajima Sensei, was a great success! Not only were we training with some outstanding Aikidoka from Shinki Aikido in Germany but we were also able to attract Aikidoka from other schools in Detroit, Lansing and Battle Creek. Everyone enjoyed the precise demonstration and explanations provided by Nakajima sensei as well as the general atmosphere of learning and progressing. There was not only an emphasis on technique but also on relaxing, connecting, flowing and joy. We also were exposed to and briefly trained in Daitoryu Jujitsu and Itto den Shinki Toho kenjutsu and discussed how they were the foundation to our Aikido training. We are looking forward to training with Master Nakajima and the other German Aikidoka here in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan at the end of June 2026, at the annual Shinki Budo Seminar.

- The Shinki Aikido Promotion Testing DVD is now available in NTSC (American) format. This a high quality, labeled and indexed DVD. Daitoryu Aiki Jujutsu Bokuyokan (Europe) Promotion Testing DVD is also available in NTSC (American) format. This a a high quality, labeled and indexed DVD (like the Shinki Aikido DVD).
