The new Tuesday night Aikido Fundamentals class will start on January 03, 2012 from 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM. In this class, we will be starting from the “ground up”, building a solid foundation in Aikido terminology, etiquette, footwork, Ukemi (falls/rolls), basic principles and basic techniques. This will lay the ground work for training in our regular (intermediate/ advanced, after the first of the year) Aikido class on Thursdays. By having a specific class dedicated to fundamentals, this also frees up our Thursday class to focus, to a greater degree, on  developing these fundamental skills through more advanced techniques and  more intense training practices.

If you would like to participate in the Thursday night intermediate/advanced class, you will be expected to understand basic Aikido terminology and etiquette, take reasonably effective ukemi/rolls and/or falls for this class.

Due to our web hosts inability to change with the times, along with a change to a new web hosting service, we are taking this opportunity to do a complete overhaul on the Mt.
